COLOUR RELIEF

In meinen interaktiven Farbreliefs habe ich mir die Aufgabe gestellt, geschlossene Strukturen zu schaffen, die ich aus beweglichen Holztafelschichtungen zusammensetze. Durch Kleben und Verschraubungen fixiere ich die einzelnen Holztafelschichten aneinander, wobei die Schrauben über ihre Funktion als Fixierung hinaus drehpunktbezogene Varianten einzelner Tafelkonstellationen ermöglichen. Zusätzlich bestimme ich durch Abstandshalter die Höheneinstellung der einzelnen Schichtungen zueinander.

 


 

En mis relieves interactivos de color pretendo crear estructuras compuestas por superficies de madera móviles y superpuestas. Mediante pegamentos y atornilladuras uno los diferentes elementos. Los tornillos actuan además como ejes, permitiendo el giro de los elementos y la variación de las figuras. La distancia entre los diferentes niveles la regulo con espaciadores.

 

 

 

 

 


 In my interactive colour relief I have set myself the task of creating closed structures, which I compose from adjustable wooden panel layers. I attach the individual wooden panel layers to one another with glue and screws, whereby the screws, beyond their attachment function, enable pivot-point related variations of individual panel constellations. In addition I define the height adjustment of the individual layering with distance holders.

Inhalt und Formfindung der Installation können im Raum oder an der Wand mittels Hängung oder am Boden durch Auslegung, Vertiefung und Höhung einzelner Holztafelschichten realisiert werden.

 

 

 

Im Unterschied zum traditionellen Tafelbild schaffe ich durch beidseitige Bemalung zusätzliche Varianten, wobei durch die Vertauschung von Vorder- und Rückseite einzelner Tafelschichtungen neue Inhaltsvarianten entstehen.

 

Um die Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Konstellationen eines Farbreliefs erlebbar zu machen, brauche ich das Medium der Fotographie.

Ich finde in der Montonie der zeitgenössisschen Großstadt die Impulse für Visionen einer neuen Urbanität und gleichzeitig den beglückenden Auftrag, den Architekturgedanken mit der Malerei zuverbinden.

El contenido y el modelado de la instalación se determinan colgando la obra de la pared o del techo o dejandola sobre el piso y girando los elementos o variando su altura o profundidad.

 

 

 

A diferencia de la pintura tradicional sobre tabla creo con mi trabajo nuevas variantes, pintando ambos lados de la tabla. Intercambiando el
lado anterior y posterior de determinados elementos surgen nuevos contenidos.

 

 

Para sentir y documentar la multitud de figuras derivadas de una obra
utilizo los medios fotográficos.

 

La monotonía propia de nuestras grandes ciudades me impulsa en el desarrollo de una nueva visión urbanística y en la agradable tarea de unir las concepciones arquitectónicas con la pintura.

The content and shape of the installation can be developed in the space or on the wall by means of hanging up, or on the floor by laying out, deepening and heightening individual wooden panel layers.

 

Unlike the traditional panel painting I create additional variations by painting on both sides, and new content variations are created by alternating the fronts and backs of individual panel layers.

 

 

 

In order to make a variety of different constellations of a colour relief accessible, I require the medium of photography.

 

In the monotony of the contemporary metropolis I find the impetus for visions of a new urbanity and at the same time the gratifying task of combining architectural experiments with painting.
